Early Candle Keep
Happy Spring! New! This design is new from us! When making the
“Early Candle Keep” we used old boards from an old barn with traces
of old red paint. This barn was being torn down and from Indiana and
over 150 years old. We salvaged what we could and there are
even old wrought nails left in some of the pieces. I cross
stitched free handed naïve style the sampler that reads 1873 Candle
Keep using an old feed sack for all the fabric. The bags holds
the handmade very lumpy bumpy ½ dozen. They are a nice size
about ½ wide by 6” long for each candle. The overall size of
board is 9” wide by 18” long (Not counting wire). Also added to the
side is some Tinder for starting a fire (not recommened just for
looks). This is made to look very early and can hang we’ve added
some rusty wire or nicely propped. Very Limited will come
signed and dated. $34.95 plus shipping. |
Garden Doll
New! This sweet Garden Doll is so primitive I really enjoyed
creating her. Shes approx. 18”. She is handmade by
me but a Netty LaCroix design.
I’ve made her using Brown Homespun, Brown Ticking, or Blue Reproduction Calico. She’s very aged. She has a pinched nose, faint drawn eyes and mouth. I’ve added a cheese cloth apron and stuck in some of the herb savory. She’s been stuffed with straw for a old timey feel. Her arms and legs are from sticks. Her hair is made with heavy cotton aged string that has been stitched on. She will look nice hanging on a cupboard or propped on a shelf. Very limited and will come signed and dated by me. $31.95 plus shipping. |

Hare And Basket
New! I had so much fun making these Hares And Baskets!...They
are handmade by me but a Netty LaCroix degisn. I hand
stitched the baskets all by hand. The baskets are 7” tall by 9” wide
(not counting the fold down flap or grass). They each have a lining
of a coordinating color. I made them in Reproduction Blue
Calico and Brown the Blue has a old blue grey nubby fabric, the
brown has a brown ticking on the inside. They are stuffed still with
prairie grass and I’ve added two painted cream eggs to the inside.
I’ve stitched the hare and he aged and white washed with a patch
nose and beaded black eye. Just so sweet and primitive. The
Hare is 9” tall. and tied to the basket with old dirty string.
This can be removed if you like. These will come signed and
dated by me. Very limited.
$45.00 plus shipping. Thank You All! (Please view our site for more prim goods)xoxo |
